In their last monthly publication they prepared a report from the NexTV Summit in Argentina, the most important South American Conference summit. At NexTV summit there were also a series of conferences that were dedicated to the business of online video and in particular the prospects of monetization use of content on digital platforms.
One of the panels at the NexTV Summit continued with a presentation of Klemen Logar, Sales Representative at Beenius who talked about the opportunities offered by the OTT with multiplatform access, allowing the use with a single server and customizability. What should be taken into consideration today is that even if operators are offering more than 200 channels, subscribers will not see more than 10 to 15 of them, and so a good recommendation system is necessary. Klemen Logar discussed about Android solution which will eventually prevail, and how consumers will need to adopt new ways of tuning the content which providers will have to include in its proposal to thrive in a changing environment.
