New research from Parks Associates (TV Channel and Network App Users) finds the most-common consumer activities with apps watch Linear TV, videos, looking for information related to TV-content, and purchasing music or merchandise. They are also using apps to check broadcast dates and times.
Smart devices are becoming a first screen and more and more users are watching TV on smartphone or tablet.
